Trademe - Tradeyou

I haven't blogged in awhile but I had to put this down even though I'm at work!

So I bought some very cute things from trademe which is New Zealand's version of Ebay or Esty and two of them were from another blogger! I only realised this as the photos are of the other blogger wearing the clothes! Her name is Andrea from www.acatofimpossiblecolour.blogspot.com
and I am so please I just wished I used the Buynow on her Two dresses auction. Oh well I still got some cute brogues and a Blue rainjacket!

almond croissants

So I ended up going to bed at midnight then waking up the next day to tackle the croissants only to discover in the recipe that before baking you must leave the croissants to rise either overnight in the fridge or in a warming pantry for 1 - 2 hours and I didn't have overnight or a warming pantry so I just had to make do with a warm oven for 2 hours. That didn't work. So just to make do I baked them anyway till they were golden brown and now I have little random pastry things!

I will be having un petite tea party for deux et plus tomorrow, and tonight I have started making almond croissants from 'Alison Holst's Bread book' the recipe can be hand made or use a bread maker so I have opted for the bread maker option! Here is lovely photo of how they should turn out.

Me singing on Youtube

I performed at my friends 21st Birthday in March and found out a video of me singing is on the internet! I'm excited because although it will probably stay a fantasy I want to be world famous singer, with the kind of independence that Lady Gaga has. Like writing my own songs and not lip synching when performing. Also being in charge of my image, not being just another sex driven pop star. Her clothes are great. All the ladies on Mad men dress fabulously but I relate to Joan (Christina) due to her colouring which is similar to mine.

Silly Kitty

This is my Kitty Cat Buddy,




He is a mongrel and an annoying one at that. Last night while getting ready for a pot luck birthday dinner he came into my room and because I closed the door he pee'd on my drawers. Yes thats right, he pee'd and not a squat but standing straight with his tail in the air right against my drawers. I love his stupid little face, and his soft fur and that fact that he likes to snuggle on the couch but he has a habit of peeing inside, and once he poo'd! does anyone know of a reason why? Are there any cat whisperers out there?!
